SUMMARY:
This is a budget leaguestart progression for Poison Concoction. The endgame gearing is pretty tame and this build can be played in SSF.

ACT 1 talkreigh regex

BANDITS

ASCENDANCY ORDER:
Passive Points -> Cloak of Flames -> Obliteration -> Death Rush/ Fury Valve (Buy the unique item and spec the other one)

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Always use the highest level life flasks you can equip!!
Make use of Faustus (from the league mechanic) in order to gamble for gear upgrades!! The loot he gives can be very powerful!!

ACT 1

Shadow Mule -> create a shadow, kill Hillock, enter town

buy iron ring (3 wisdom scroll cost)
mule starter dagger,
mule cobra lash quest reward

Create real character on Scion.

kill Hillock, enter town

buy 2nd iron ring (3 wisdom scroll cost again)
buy a dagger or a claw from vendor

(now we should have alot of free flat phys damage from double iron rings and double phys weapons. this will carry Scion up until level 12)

Cobra Lash - Volley Support - Chance to Poison - Unbound Ailments (order of importance, obviously you will only have a 2 or 3 link)

Shield Charge - Faster Attacks - Momentum (BUY SHIELD CHARGE ASAP BECAUSE THE STR REQ GOES UP IF U POSTPONE THIS)

Snipers Mark (drop this after the Pconc swap)

Frostblink

Decoy Totem (optional gem if you need something to tank for you in boss fights)

Withering Step

Clarity (you may not initially have the Int to use this, but we will path towards int soon)

Precision (provides accuracy for pconc. do not need to constantly level this up as it adds reservation cost. occasionally check your accuracy in the stats page, and level as needed)

After you kill fairgraves and hit Level 12, Swap to PCONC

Pconc - Volley - Void Manip - Unbound Ailments (order of importance)

ACT 2

Herald of Agony

Blood Rage (optional skill that increases damage and gives leech)

ACT 3

Despair (self cast on bosses)

Malevolence (useful aura in the endgame, not needed now)

Haste (use this after grabbing the Charisma passive

Plague Bearer (extra damage, works great with Increased Area of Effect if you have the gem slot for it)

ACT4

Pconc - Greater Volley - Void Manip - Unbound Ailments

After Act 4 you can just blast your way thru the rest of the campaign, and not worry about anymore gem swaps!

ENDGAME GEARING
The build suggests a few common uniques. Some substitutions:

Body Armor: Cloak of Flames, Lightning Coil, Doppelganger Guise, or Rare Evasion armor with Phys taken as eldrith implicit
Dendrobate is a more offensively focused body armor option

Amulet: Fury Valve, or Rare Amulet with Damage over time Multiplier and Life

Shield: Dawnbreaker is a common Searing Exarch drop, and is a cheap source of phys to ele, and prioritize the phys taken as fire roll.
Lepers Alm's has more damage and less phys mit than Dawnbreaker. I would prefer Dawnbreaker shield until at least I have a Lightning Coil 6-Linked.
Rare Shaper Shield with life gain on block can be another option here. Pristine Fossils would be a good way to craft this.

Flasks: Rumi's is a good source of block and coupled with Dawnbreaker and our anoint Aggresstive Bastion, puts us very close to block cap
Sulphur Flask is an option for more damage
Topaz Flask is another option if we are using Lightning Coil and do not need the extra block

Rest of Gear: The rest of the gear should just fix your stats. Ele Res, Chaos Res, Strength, a Suppression Roll. Prioritize evasion bases as we are scaling this stat, and the 15% suppress mastery requires evasion helm, boot, glove.
To acquire powerful SSF gear, I suggest sending Crimson Ore and Bars to Te Onui with your Kingsmarch ships, which will return well-rolled evasion gear. I was also using Faustus to gamble for my evasion gear, which has a good chance of being well-rolled.

ENDGAME GEMS

Obviously we already have the gems all shown in the skills tab, but for some context:

Swap Blood Rage to Culling Strike support for the important endgame boss fights. You can shield charge to cull them quickly, and blood rage is a mapping skill only.

Awakened gems are NOT mandatory, but I have included them to make sure you are aware that they are good upgrades to aim for. I did not use them to clear all the void stones in my practice GSF run last week.

Awakened Unbound Ailments, Awakened Void Manipulation, Awakened Vicious Projectiles

POISON CONCOCTION OF BOUNCING SWAP
This entails prioritizing # of projectiles as well as the Projectile Mastery for inc damage per chain.
There is also a Projectile Damage medium cluster that can be chaos spam crafted to get the 'Follow-Through' node, which gives us alot of damage.
Obviously we also want to have both Greater Volley and Greater Multiple Projectiles supports when we swap to this gem.
Having all these projectiles will put strain on your life flasks, which is why the tree has support for regaining life flask charges.
(All these changes are already noted in the Skill and Tree tabs for the Pconc Swap, which I did after campaign but if you want you can do it beforehand.

PANTHEON:
MAJOR: Brine King for Freeze immunity
MINOR: Gruthkul for phys mitigation, altho this choice is flexible depending on your weakness.

BOSSING:
This tree gets 100% chance to avoid being stunned and make sure you have this when you start doing bosses ie Shaper fight. It's night and day difference if you are immune to stuns or not.

CONCLUSION:

I will be streaming this start live on twitch. I will be posting build updates that take this past this budget starter guide on Youtube. I plan to eventually transition this character into <<<POISON SPARK>>>, and will be making a transition guide on Youtube for this.
This is a pconc guide so if you want to make that PSpark transition with me you will get support for that in a dedicated future video guide.

Feel free to ask for help in twitch chat, or in my discord community (link can be found at the top of this notes page).

Hope to see you around in Phrecia League!!!!

MISC FAQ:

map regex?

i do not like cannot leech and monsters avoid poison. the regex to avoid these is:

"!eec|on,"

charges are not configured in pob?

We get endurance charge on kill via anoint, and frenzy on kill if you remember to press Blood Rage at the start of the map. I am not including these in the POB because it's not going to affect boss damage,
but we are primarily going to be mapping so yes you will usually have charges

do we need tattoos?

You will ideally have 1 avoid stun tattoo to push us from 96 to 100% stun avoidance. Stun immunity is very important when doing endgame bossing, where a shaper ball stunning you could mean the difference between getting hit once and walking it off, or dying.
You may also need 1 poison chance tattoo if you do not opt to get it on the glove eldritch implicit
